Compress coil spring far enough to facilitate removal of
spacer under ''A'' arm. Protect your teeth and the family jewells ! This contraption
can be lethal. Carefully remove the coil spring. Make note to duplicate spring identification
paint colors.


This snazzy ratchet can be used in place of an offset box end wrench and offers
superior leverage when removing upper ''A'' arm shaft retaining nuts.


Caster and camber are both adjusted with alignment shims. Remove them, but reinstall
in the same configuration to reduce future alignment labor. Remove upper "A"
arm assy.
For the moment, we will concentrate on prep to install disk
conversion.


Separate and plug brake line @ hose. Remove the four nuts that hold backing plate
to spindle and remove backing plate assembly.
Inspect other suspension components for evidence of wear or damage.
